About

I am a qualified Remedial Massage Therapist with over 15 years experience in a variety of settings including private clinical practice, day spas, hospital settings, oncology and disability services, and allied health professional spaces.

In my work I carry the intention that the body is a unique evolving frequency, in constant fluidic motion. As a practitioner I hold space and facilitate the awareness that we already embody an innate wholeness. Once the body can listen to itself, it is here that the true resourcing and rejuvenation of self can occur. The awareness of the wholeness and inseparable nature of body, mind and spirit, creates space to move towards equilibrium, harmony and balance.

My understanding of the body has evolved from my own curiosity and observations of how we can move from a space of disassociation, trauma and unease into spaciousness, presence and acceptance. This has led into my lifelong journey of studying the body from both a Western anatomical and physiological perspective, as well as a leaning towards the Yogic sciences and trauma informed practices.

“The skin is no more separate from the brain than the surface of a lake is separate from its depths; the two are different locations in a continuous medium…The brain is a single functional unit, from cortex to fingertips to toes. To touch the surface is to stir the depths”

Deane Juhan

Through years of working with chronic restriction, pain and unease in people’s bodies, I have learnt to release musculoskeletal tension. I have also become aware of the deeper root causes behind repetitive pain and restriction. As a result, I am drawn to understanding pain from a holistic perspective, including the role of held trauma. This gentle enquiry into “why“ the pain exists in the body does not require an answer that is absolute or rigid, just a respect and openness towards the diversity of human experience. With a compassionate lens I recognise that often the body is braced in a sympathetic nervous system loop response due to a continuum of pain signals that the body/mind is sending to protect.

Bodywork is one way to gently intersect this loop, to allow a settling into a softer, expansive reality, creating a new way the body can exist within stress. My intention is to guide people to regulate their own physiology and stress responses, to allow focused movement towards greater health.

“From our very first meeting, Ever’s nurturing and healing energy radiated and left a lasting impression on me…From the moment I step into her space, I can feel myself letting go of the stresses of daily life…It’s as if she taps into a deeper level of healing, addressing both the physical and energetic aspects of my well-being. The care and attention that she puts into her treatments result in a profound sense of relaxation and rejuvenation.”
